Abstract

|
The purpose of this paper is to offer a brief historical background of the various viewpoints of Krukenberg tumors taken by different writers. The report is to make recommendations as to what the authors belive to be useful categorical entity and to add our case to the already large series reported. The authors belief is that the term Krukenberg tumor should be reserved for those originally defined by Krukenberg. This 31 year old Korean female with unilateral Krukenberg tumor o the right ovary died with stubborn ascites and cacheixa 3 months after bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy
